The following is a list of all of the crimes that require defendants to serve 85% of their sentence before becoming eligible for parole or earned credits.

Some of these are obvious, like 1st degree murder and robbery, crimes against children and lewd molestation. However, there are several that are not so obvious. For example, it is an 85% crime to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute, or transport any controlled dangerous drug within 2000 feet of a school, recreation center, public park, public housing project, or child care facility if it is the second offense.
