Elton Jenkins is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma. His main office is located near the Cleveland County Courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma. However, he has worked in most of the counties in Oklahoma. Elton Jenkins has worked as a trial attorney for over 21 years. During that 21 years, he has had over 4000 felony cases and countless misdemeanors. For 12 years he was responsible for one-third of the major crimes on the Indigent Defense contract in Cleveland County.
Prior to becoming a trial attorney, Elton Jenkins earned a degree in Elementary Education and worked as a tennis instructor. Elton Jenkins’ practice reflects his experience. He has spoken at the University of Oklahoma Law School on the issues of ethics and the practice of law. Elton Jenkins has successfully represented clients on the most difficult of cases, including murder, robbery, and sex crimes. He also has represented numerous clients on misdemeanors, including DUI, possession of drugs, and domestic abuse.
